Hey guys, anybody else have a problem with the husky 3120 burning up coils?
This is the 2 nd one I've had to replace in a year. IMG_20231124_165529.jpg

Well, new coil, yanked flywheel to look at key and keyway, still no sparkles.
What in the ...? Never had that happen! Yes, I am looking now for a OEM coil.
Thats what I get for shopping over seas. Where should I send money?

Spark plugs!?
Something about non-resistor plugs damaging ignition elements if these are set up to run a plug with resistor.

Just a thought.
Might be worth checking/looking into since plugs are cheaper than coils.

Leave the kill switch unhooked and see if you have spark again
Kill switch un hooked and still no sparkles, what a treat to hook that back up. bent needle nose pilers and still 5 minutes to get it plugged back together. I guess i am not supposed to work on orange saws.

You just have the wrong approach to fixing orange saws!

While looking straight at them You have to yell and cuss ten prior generations of the saw.
Once You turn Your back to the saw in question You may cry Your soul out in an futile attempt to gather strength for another cussing session.

It won't fix the saw, but at least it's something!
