272 HD filter

The Husqvarna 272 HD filter is NLA has anyone figured out a substitute that fits under the top cover.

I hear word that there might be an AM replacement in the works maybe. Otherwise maybe a regular elbow off a 268 with a v-stack adapter with a universal green Uni filter made to fit.

I haven't tried this but I was someone on here do it on a 372 iirc and it looked slick.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the 272 HD Filter. You could cut a green uni filter down on a v stack. I was looking at these small breather pods that uni makes. They are 1.5" OD by 1.5" height .

Those are good filters when oiled with good filter oil.

The 272 filter box with cartridge filter works really well. Parts are cheap to convert to it.
