I get that. Just saying that politics aren’t welcome. Just an FYI.
I dont need you to tell me what the rules are-- thats not your place.
I have stated that it was strictly a time line reference-- get it?

I think the white and maroon combination looked pretty good too!
Just a cherry car ,nicely done.
A buddy of mine fully restored a 71' f150 sport custom when we were younger. He did a few personal touches like a white vinyl top with a quit diamond pattern with matching interior.
I hope your venture foward is successful.

It didn't look terrible, but the interior was a bit off with the red carpet, maroon dash, black seats and pimped out steering wheel! Still a fun driver until I ran into someone at a stop sign in Georgetown, TX in September 2006. I was too busy ogling the lady cutting grass in Daisy Dukes and a tank top in the field next to the road and ran into the back end of a Durango...

Here's what's up next. 68 Lemans convertible (now a GTO clone). I built a strong pump gas 455 for it (close to 500 hp with ported iron heads, forged bottom end, etc), built the TH400, 11" converter, and installed a 3.90 geared rear. Got about 150 miles on it and the transmission gave up the ghost, so I need to give it another shot. My buddy in Fayette-Nam, NC did the body and paint. It's a factory '68 color.

Anyway, the plan is to finish it up and sell it as well. It was supposed to be a "quick flip" (wife loves to remind me of that), but I've had it for 10 years...

& I didnt start it
Seriously!?! Why do you think I replied to you? You flew off the handle like a petulant little kid. You got your feelers hurt and claimed you wouldn’t post here anymore. I’ll say it again no ifs, ands, or buts…“lighten up dude” and take a week off from this thread for arguing about it for good measure.

Scott,

How did the sale work out? Is the new owner pleased with the deal he got.
