I'd recommend the GB Arbor Tech bars that Left Coast Supplies has been selling but they are out of the 14" bar in A074 mount (same as Sithl 3005) and only have 12" and 16". If you could use 12 or 16 the prices are great, about $20 for the bar + Oregon VXL chain.

You're welcome. I have the 14" (probably got the last one, haha) and the 12". I love the 12 on my ms170, it looks, feels and performs perfectly. These are well made bars.

I have two 16" 3/8 .063 3003 bars from them marked product ID Australia. The two LP 3005 bars don't say exactly. IIRC, it says something like "GB Australia" on them (or maybe the package), which could mean that they were made there or that's where the company is.
