I don't have a carbide yet. My boring bar has a 1/8" hss cutter going through the bar on a 45°. It works well but sometimes the plating is really thick where the wall meets the roof and I have to go over that area a few times. Carbide is on the list though

Keep an eye on eBay......

My friends around my area think a Farm Boss or 460 Rancher is a "big power house" Saw. Since mine is only 044/046 a 460 must be stronger right?

One was ticked that my lowly, 1990s 036 embarrassed his new 362. He made me switch bars and chains with him because his "must be dull." I didn't tell him right away that mine was ported lol. He wasn't aware that you could do that. He went and picked up a new 441. I haven't cut with him since.

You gunna put fingers or bridges in any of the hybrids? Neither worked for me but back then they were poorly executed.

No. I've given up on em. I "think" that the bridges "might" help a little with lifting the charge into the chamber.......but if there is any gain there is very minimum.

I know a certain 064 that has them which just happens to be pretty stout. Not sure if the bridges have a thing to do with it or not
