The "new" way works for sure Jason.

Can't wait to cut with the unicorn again. If I can ever learn the drop start technique and get it started. My wife is gonna have to start working out to help me.

According to the original post, the saw was not built by Brad. I have no clue who in fact built it.
Doesn't matter to me. I've just never witnessed a saw lock up on video like that and had to share.
Kinda looks like it snagged a port heading towards BDC and the windows & rod let go

I don't think that hung,I believe that the rod broke.
If it hung it would stop everything and not have enough energy left to stick the rod out of the case,every rod I've seen break was broken in the same spot.

I had one grenade but it was when I 1st started porting and widened the intake and the ringend was in the intake. My heart dropped when it made that sound!! ! I sent pics to Randy and he pointed my problem out quick!! Lol! I wont forget that lesson

Faulty or overspend.
I got a 880 that it happened to and I done it to my 064 once.
The rod will generally bend instead of break. I know that from experience also. Lol

Damn that's some carnage.

The last 044 I did stalled and made a mechanical clank. My heart sunk.

Wound up having the carb adjusted wrong and it threw a flywheel fin. Was I ever lucky.
