Just an FYI, if you are just looking for a clean looker, you can use an AM 440 tank and get the Stihl safety stickers for free. CCC sels flippy cap eliminator caps which seal well and look pretty close. I know you probably are aware of this, but it’s a clean way to find the unobtainium.

I didn’t add the flippy eliminator cap, but this tank is am.

that is an option, just did not want a new unit as i am trying to "match" it closer.... maybe i should not be so anal

New here not sure if you had luck finding one. Im looking for a fuel tank/ handle assembly myself. Was sent here by guys in a facebook group. Had a log come down on my dads saw earlier this week

i did find one in Ontario, not sure if he is still interested in selling it. I cleaned mine up and decide to just use it, crack was not as bad and i thought it was either so i will make due, but continuing to look for a nice one.

Mines busted up bad. Saws at the dealer right now They said parts are discontinued so they said if i can find parts to help the process thats great.
