    WANTED Jonsered 2094 recoil cover/assembly.

Picked this bad boy up at a yard sale today. Looks to be in decent shape, compression feels good, piston looks good, has spark. The recoil cover is pretty busted up though, making it difficult to crank. Anyone happen to have one they’d be willing to part with? Picked up a few other fun...

FOUND IT Craftsman 50cc clutch cover.

Anyone have a clutch cover for a 50cc craftsman they’d part with? Same as the Poulan Pro 5020AV? Come across a like new saw cheap, but they lost the clutch cover. Looks like this. Would prefer to find a matching gray one, but I’d use a yellow one if need be.

    Husqvarna L77?

Talking to a local guy that I’ve done business with in the past, he bought a 257 off me a few weeks ago, and now is wanting the early model non decomp 262xp I was fixing to put up for sale. He is wanting to do a partial trade with this clean L77. Its supposed to run well, but I haven’t seen it...

    Joncutter G2500 question.

Been eyeballing one of these for a while, wanting a decent small top handle to keep around, and I've been wanting to play with one of the chinese saws. Everything points to these being a decent little saw so I ordered one. Went ahead and ordered the bar and chain combo as well, but I'm curious...

Breaker & Spinner, is this a good deal?

Is this a good deal? Been watching for a decent breaker/spinner set for my bench, don’t want to break the bank as I don’t figure I’ll use it enough. I’ve got an old Nielsen 100B sharpener that I like, but having a good second one wouldn’t hurt. That one looks a little sketchy, although it...

    Ouch, new one on me

Guy brought in a 450 husqvarna, non running, wanted to trade it in. Told me he hadn’t had it that long, got it hot running it with a dull chain, and stuck the ring. He had bought an aftermarket piston and ring, and put it in. Said the saw fired right up, and ran great for about 30 seconds...

    SOLD Shindaiwa 488

Picked this up at an estate auction. It's fairly clean, everything appears to be in good shape, looks to be a low hour saw. The fuel lines are good, the fuel cap is leaking a little the o-ring gasket is dry rotted, but I have a new one on order. Runs very well. 18" oregon bar that is in good...

    Educate me - Solo 611.

Went to a big auction yesterday in hopes of replinishing my stock of saws to sell. Brought home a lot of odds and ends, mostly cheap stuff that sells well, and a few good wood cutting saws. Came across this pair of Solo 611 saws, and picked them up cheap. I've heard of Solo brand, but...

    Ever seen one of these?

I used to have one of these that I picked up at a yard sale, I loaned it to my uncle and never got it back. I never really thought much of it back then, but I had never seen another one till now. I got this from a lady that i helped clean out her shed this weekend. That confirms to me they...

FOUND IT Shindaiwa 488 clutch cover & carb

I picked up a 488 in a trade recently, I've always heard good things about these saws, but they are rare around here. The guy I got it from had loaned it to a buddy, and got it back in less than optimal condition. The saw is mostly ok, but the clutch cover is cracked almost entirely in two...

    Stihl 028 AV spitting fuel

This is something I've not run across before, at least in a piston ported saw. I've seen similar in reed valve saws where something was keeping the reed from sealing good. Was given a 028 AV, the thing is very clean, will start, but spits fuel out the carburetor like crazy, won't rev. Was...

SELLING McCulloch Power Mac 6 Auto

Got this little saw as part of a trade, very clean for its age. Rebuilt the carb, it runs great. The infamous crank assembly has been repaired and reinforced with a split aluminum ring, rivets, and what looks like jb weld. Looks like they did a solid job, should hold up well, forgot to take...

    Poulan Model F - what's it worth?

Picked this up at a sale today, my dad wanted it, wants to get it going. Has good compression, no spark, but I'm sure the points are coroded. It's complete though, which doesn't always happen. My question, what's a Saw like this worth? I've seen some old Homelite a bring good money, but this...

    Husqvarna 266SE question

Picked up this beauty :risas3: from a buddy yesterday, along with a running weed eater for $25. I'll sell the weed eater and get my money back. Anyway, started tearing the saw down to see what I had, it was completely full of mud dober nests, but anyway... I haven't had a lot of...

    Valve issue, what causes this?

I'm a chainsaw guy, don't have a lot of experience with 4 strokes, but sometimes get conned into working on one. This is from a Honda GX160 on a wood splitter that a buddy asked me to look at. Engine starts easy enough, and runs pretty good, but blows grayish white smoke. Compression was a...
