Still working on it. Slowly. Have to get some reeds made for this series saw. Hopefully I will be able to find the original set somewhere around here. Other saws took less work so I decided to get some of those done first.

Put together a 3.3 Craftsman, put a short block 3.3 in place of a 2.8. Runs nice. Among the last of the better made Poulans. Has a muffler mod as well. Wanted to do a Poulan Pro 330 intake boot and carb swap but can't find a carb for a reasonable amount of money. Will post a picture later...

First builder set, four saws. Will have to ship in two boxes. $100 for the saws, $55 for shipping. One 50, a 51 and two 55's. Should be enough to get a nice runner out of them. With a few parts added, you might wind up with 2 runners. What you see is what you get, bar and chain is included...

Put one together today. Got some gumption there. [video] Husky 55 closed port. New piston, new piston ring, base gasket delete, heli-coiled carb attachment plate with socket cap bolts. New fuel line and filter, new intake boot and impulse boot. SOLD

What heli coil kit size do you use for the partition plate? What size and thread carb bolts do you use? Got a bunch of these series Huskies that will be made into runners. Don't want them to come back, so I will do it right.

I am not sure it will work or not, but try acetone. That is what has to be used for ThreeBond 1194 or 1183.
