That pigeon would have had a hard time trying than on my kitchen window - it has a steel wire mesh installed to keep bugs out when it's opened.
A beak first hit would help break the glass easy enough it might survive, still a hard hit, but it is easy to forget how the proportional physics change with body size. Like how a baby squirrel can survive a 50ft fall, but we can easily break at under 10ft.
I was looking at those around here a week ago wondering if they are worth a macro shot, I guess I'll give it a try.

Buddy of mine moved to San Diego area, every time we talked he would say it's 75 and sunny, even when it wasn't lol.
I went and visited in 2002, when we went to Universal studios it was 68, and when we drove up 4 hrs into the mountains to go skiing it was 17. Neat climate for sure out that way, but I wouldn't want to live on the SW coast, I'm grateful for where we are but a little more sun would be nice
