Now I have to ask "What's up Doc"???

Who's saw?

Can you explain the function of that weird looking piston?

Is the ring gap really at 180*, or is the ring not located on the pin?

Good luck with that beauty Al, I'm exited to see it!

After standing on the shoulders of the men here who started the research, I want to try a different approach.

The saw has such nice ports and such nice numbers that I plan on the Mustang Mike quad classic. MM/BGD/TA/AF

That’s an extra piston. Got plenty of 4047 Aluminum filler wire here. I plan on welding a popup to the crown and maybe just cut a bit out of the chamber if the BGD squish is too tight.

A nice Frogzskin on the rear should look nice and help the carb box while still keeping things clean.

Stay tuned.

If it allows the base gasket delete, I would try it w/o the pop up first. They run great stock, so little changes are likely best!

Keep us posted!
