Last night was a night I don't care to repeat...

A buddy threw his wife a surprise party. He got a group together and rented a party bus to head to town to eat. Both me and Lisa were reluctant, we've never been into the "group party" thing. We always preferred hanging out around a fire, in a barn or at someone's house. We were told we'd just be going out for diner and then go back to my buddies place to hang out. We are told it'd be 9-9:30 at the latest.... We couldn't be out late cause Lisa needed to be up early for work.

I should have known better when a few people showed up three sheets to the wind to get on the bus that the night was going to go south :facepalm:

Of course after diner everyone talked the driver into taking the bus to a bar, things continued to downhill.... We finally got back shortly after 11. On the way back one guy started getting belligerent and it took several of us to restrain the guy from beating another guy. (No one has any idea why he snapped)

I should have stayed around to drive everyone home... My buddy promised me he'd call if anyone needs a ride...

I'll never do that again... I've got zero tolerance for anyone acting like a jackass

I went to one when I was 21, I never had the desire to go to one again.

There was a gas station and fire department across the street. Me, my wife and another couple went to get a pop and bull chit with some guys at the station until the bus was ready to head out
