I have some informations: I found something in the stihl parts catalog: Stihl MS 881 (Z) - parts no. starting with 1124 This makes me think the MS 881 will be a reworkes MS 880 Like the MS 460/461 And no Mtronic.

i checked the serial no. That serial number is a real 090 AV I know that the 070 is produced on a seperate production line in Germany. But they cant sell them in Germany because auf Emission regulations. Some years ago they told Stihl dealers that every dealer could order a 070 for presentation...

New EU Emission regulations since 2019. So they were not allowed to produce the MS 201 with the old piston. Our MS 201 was produced in April 2019.

They are available as soon as the old saws are sold. Seems that the new piston for the MS 201 is aavailable so i will order one for testing purposes.

MS 151/193 are non-mtronic saws. The MS 201 is only as mtronic saw available in germany. But i think they will release a updated non-mtronic Version for other countries. The stepped piston should increase the power about 5-10 %.
