Cast iron is brittle but not very hard, no idea what kind of magic stuff they use in new zeeland. But if you weld it the carbon will form carbides around the welds wich are hard as diamonds. Happened to an abused flywheel I tries to true up, the carbide inserts chipped as soon as they touched...

Thats what a taper fit means, should be no movement. It doesnt sound like they fit and not very reassuring. I think the germans should be able to make two tapers mate.

660 milling mod

Anyone dynoed a 400 stock and ported?

My slot is 12.1 mm, make it a hair over 12 mm or it might be a little tight.

I milled out this bar to fit on a 660. A bit longer slot and shortened the tail a little bit.

Painted the inside of my little fishing boat. Damn flies love dive bombing the wet paint....
