I’ve never heard of Lysol for that. How do you mix or dilute it? Also do you have good luck with it? I had a old vet tell me once pinkeye would cause their eye to go out treated in 1 week or get better in 14 days untreated [emoji23]

I’ve used that with mixed results used to use Azamycin, not sure if that is spelled right, but they changed it. I know this sounds cruel but the old timers around here threw salt in there eyes, works about as good as anything ,short of treating them and sewing their eyes shut.

After you loosen the belts be sure and take a long bar and put between the rollers and pry on them some.. A little pressure is sometimes the only way to find them before they completely go out..That’s the way our dealer showed me to do it.

Mastermind, let me know what it was. I still bet a bearing is just starting to go on one of those two rollers!

Belt length always seemed to me to bother a lot when you first tried to start the bale. I’d check the bearings before I pull All the belts out!

I was going to say I have had the bearing on the feed roller and the top roller do that..

Was the bale turning good in the chamber or did it plug before?

I don’t know about Heston but on a Vermeer they had a little guard down by the feed roller that had to be set to a specific tolerance or it would plug every time.

Big late cut grass bales up this way sold for $128 2 weeks ago. Brother in law buys a lot of hay and said that stuff was some of the worst stuff he had ever seen!
