My experiance is with loose ends on the red wire. The one that goes between the coils.
I had the same thing happen to a 288. It would die at idle and start right up. Crimp both ends of the red wire, between the coils, to tighten them...
I like that. Its been a page since someone has Hooray 288!ededed.
Because of this pile setting in the wood room of our house. Theres a 394xp, 390xp, 371xp, 272 and 261 in there.
