Got it mounted and wired in

It will go on the front of my 76 GMC 3/4 ton 4X4. This is electric. I have to track down some parts for the brake. Its ready to go other than that.

If it has a 6.2 then it will have the newer style. Needs to be 79-80, maybe a bit earlier

Anybody have an 80 silverado with a complete air conditioning system? If so could you post pics of it from under the hood. I'm going to try to get mine going again but dont know what all I'm missing or how the wires run/connect. Thanks in advance.

I cut a dead Fir tree I spotted 3-4 years ago. It was bigger than I remembered. I got darn near 2 loads out of it. My Rattler 288 with 28" did most of the work.

Got this from a friend for free. Supposedly has a bad wrist pin bearing and a smeared piston. I'll tear into it tomorrow to see for sure. Its rough but it'll fit in with my other stuff.

Got a couple loads so far from one tree. Still half a load to get. First load is on my 76, second is on my 87.

I finally got around to putting a flatbed on my 87. The box was in pretty bad shape with the rust and 20 years of hauling firewood.

I stopped at my favorite watering hole and there were 2 other squares there so I parked in line at the far end.

Got another one today. 77 half ton 4X4, 4spd with a 400. Cab corners are pretty good and has a nice flatbed. He wanted $1000 but we bartered for 8 cords of firewood.

Its a standard block. Could be either 2 or 4 bolt according to the block number.

This is probably putting the cart before the horse but I got a 454 to rebuild THEN find a truck to put it in. Its a low mile motorhome motor, cost me $150.

My @rattler 394 and 562 got a workout today. So did my truck pulling the butt log.
