Yep.
I was thinking about making a Kydex holster for it to use for concealed carry.[emoji19]

How can people take financial hits like this? I can't tell you how many times over the years, I've seen things exactly like this. How can a person put over 80k into a pickup to let it got for 57k?

Has a new project to keep him out of trouble. Like me n CS milling. About $6k in solid stuff, not including mix, chain, oil, grinding wheels. When the green slab comes off smooth, flat and the color is going away in 5 minutes never to be seen again. I have something unique, that I do like more sometimes than others.
The sense of, look what I did with this barn find, or whatever shape it was in when started. Money can't buy that personal sense of accomplishment perhaps.

This is how I brought this one home.
Sitting like this for 11 years. Not running.
Now it runs damn good. Painting all the body parts to put back together. Looking to have it on the road by March-April.
There is a huge amount of personal satisfaction bringing something back.

I get the satisfaction aspect of restoring items, no matter what it is. I just know that I couldn't let that personal satisfaction cost me 23k at a time. Then again, I guess over 7 years, that's only 3300 per year lost. Maybe their income is high enough, that's nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Yes, I'm in it for the satisfaction part of it.
With that being said, I'm also extremely cheap. I don't take anything out to have it done. I do it myself. Also, I'm terrible with a spray gun. Just can't get the hang of it.
These parts were done with Krylon rattle can.

I'd wheel it.

My buddy is restoring his dads model A. Told me a long time ago its always cheaper to by restored vs restoring it. Individual parts can get pricey quick.
