The front is just a Chevy dana 44 that I’m building myself. A front 60 is too much for me.
I found a clean rust free K30 frame with a D60 front and a 14 bolt rear dually axle locally for $300. I going to wait a week and see if he'll take $200. I want to put a nicer (less rusty) frame under my blue K10. I'd have to shorten the K30 frame as it was a crew cab frame though. Then when I swapped frames I would address some body issues while I have it off. I'll have to find a matching 14FF for the rear without dual wheels. Perfect time to swap to rear disk brakes.

Wow. That’s a great deal. The K-30 frames are actually made from thicker steel, so that would be an upgrade, as well. You’ll have to deal with the front dually hubs, but that Dana 60 should be at least $800 by itself. The rear you could swap any diff out of pretty much any truck... maybe even find a newer Chevy or Dodge rear with discs already on it. Sounds like a great project.

Yup, I totally agree. The guy said he was going to cut it up for another project but said it was too clean of a frame to cut up. I told him that's what I was planning to do lol.

Looking to be a nice day outside.

When you change rotors doesn't eliminate the hubs?
And van axles is what you want, they have the widest distance between WMS.

The king pin are more sought after, but a balljoint 60 is just fine.
I’ve had both in full-size trucks (Ford and Chevy)... I just don’t need a front 60 for what I’m doing. I am gonna run RCV axles and 37” tires.

It’s just a CJ-7 with an Ls1/Nv4500/Dana 300.
At least that’s the plan. Got my new radiator/fan setup yesterday.
