Screens don’t last forever.
Little hint neither do trucks, you’ll realize this after you look at you 900$ 3/4 ton. First thing being mn and Wisconsin use so much salt you need to look at the frame. If it’s a Chevy 2500 the frames like to gather salt and crack between cab and box.

Not a fan of all the gizmos and driver aids either. No way to avoid them either. 2015 and up have to have backup cameras. Just drive old chit is the only way to avoid it.
What’s wrong with a back up camera? They’re actually really nice to hook a trailer up by yourself. Also if you choose to not use it and make 10 attempts to line it up nobody is stopping you

I don't spend much time towing, and I can see that usefulness. However, many can't function without it, which is disturbing. I glance at the one in my work van, and there are times when it is a blurred mess in inclement weather, rendering it useless. People should know how to use mirrors. I will be fine without backup cameras, and and stability and traction control.

Cross members under the bed is another thing

Would it bother you that I have 2 back up cameras in the dually ?
You are pretty much saying you don’t need a truck
So why do you have one

The anti tech kid will really hate this, no keys for the truck and a 12” touch screen. Also has the first stereo upgrade and you can start it from anywhere long as you have cell service
Hey now, back in his day air conditioning meant cracking a window! That young man just ain't used to these big computers cybermobile trucks!
Maybe the passenger seat?
He's lucky he didn't have to ride in the bed...

You’d probably be real pissed to hear that my Exploder had front and rear cameras, the rear even has a washer to avoid those nasty messy screens…
