Anybody have experience with the Sccy DVG series? I know the CPX series aren't much, but the DVG seems like it would be a decent cheap gun for when you don't want to carry something expensive. The mechanical design is awfully close to Kahr and Glock sights compatible.

Pretty safe yes. And we a quite homogeneous. Capitol area has differences and there you have the problems too. Still a gunfight is rare. If someone is killed it is more like execution somewhere else than city center.

I'd say it is rare. Kids walk to school etc.
Especially outside capitol (Helsinki) area it is unimaginable that someone tries to rob or hurt you. Day or night.

Do not fully understand your question but if you see a police car it is most likely controlling traffic. Weapons, any kind, are not a problem here. Normal avarage people do not have any kind of gun unless it is a hunting rifle or shotgun. Those are kept home not in your car. Pistols, revolvers etc are for target shooting and it is a hobby for some people. Still the gun stays home behind a locked door.
Following may be just my bad guess but if you go to a supermarket carrying a gun in your pocket AND for some reason someone sees it or you drop it THEN you are in trouble with the police. Big trouble.

You are lucky to live in a safe country. Just checked your crime rate and Finland is on the low end. Venezuela has highest crime rates of any country and we have opened our border to them.

We will have problem with russian border. When snow melts it will be huge pressure there. Government has not yet published detailed plan how to keep asylum seekers away. russia is trafficking people from middle east just to create problems.
