That is adorable! I never knew they had a Stihl Man! Where did you find that?
Was looking up chains at the Croatian Stihl distributors web page and stumbled upon the fan/memorabilia articles.

Went to my local Stihl dealer after work yesterday to order the keychains and pocketknife and they had the knife and little guy in stock.

Is the little feller not available in the US?

Local tree service outfit is hard on their top handle saws.

There was another 193T in the mix that he said "runs rough"...I found this.

I took the engine out of the roughest 192 for the 193 with the broken pan.

I found this in one of the 194T's.

Evidently, the center electrode broke and spent some time rattling around the combustion chamber before getting stuck back into the plug.

Just a testament on how tough these little clam shell top handles are, no they aren’t a 200 or 201 but for half price they can easily pay for themselves, make a great second saw for a back up or you buy 2 of these vs one 201 when starting out and at least you have a back up.

I was able to make one 194T runner from the two. Today's project was the remaining two 192T models.

How do you even do this to internal parts that are surrounded by protective plastic?

I think we will manage to get 4 runners out of the 6 top handles he brought in though there aren't enough mufflers and clutch covers to go around. I ended up mixing and matching parts from the 192 and 193 engines (cylinder from one, pan from another) to get the last one assembled. Hopefully #4 will run O.K. tomorrow when I finish it up.

I've already finished the 038 and 362 (038 needed a very good cleaning, repair to the recoil, and cleaning of the carburetor, 362 need deep cleaning and a carburetor kit plus the washer and E clip for the clutch), still have two 261's to look over. One reportedly "loses power when it gets warm"...

The 261’s carbed or mtronic? If you need another muffler I may have a 194 muffler

I'll check with the owner and see if he has other parts saws available, or if he wants me to try and track down some new/used/aftermarket parts to make the last one complete.

The last calibration procedure documentation I have is dated 2017, I suspect it should apply to these saws still.

Look at the foot pad for the mtronic version 2.0 and lower is the 45-90 seconds idle in start position then shut of without touching the throttle. 2.1 and above is idle minimum of 30 sec then hold wide open, you’ll hear it adjusting up and down and when it levels out your done. If the foot pad decal is gone you should be able to look at the coil. On the old ones sometimes the linkage binds so I have needed to just barely touch the throttle to release some pressure on the switch to shut it off.
