Question for all the saw mechanics out there..

Saw starts and gushes fuel from both jets..

Full throttle with both high and low screws turned all the way in still gagging with fuel.

Possible causes??

This should be fun..

It acts like it’s just flat stuck open...

I fogged the whole shop.. had to leave the blue haze was so thick..

I didn’t realize a carb could burp that much fuel even with the high and low circuit closed off.

The metering level is probably set very high and the needle is getting held open.

Has to be..

Although it managed to do it on it's own. Since my neighbor used it all last year with no issues.

Still amazed that much fuel can get by those high and low screws.. It's an impressive amount.

New parts inbound.

It could be a really stiff diaphragm.

More saw fun today...
Broke out the ported 372, with enough bar to saw em down from one side..... I really like to have more bar than tree when falling 👍
I'm guessing we cut around 30 trees today.
