Good morning folks. 36 to 61 today, a little bit warmer than yesterday, I'll take it. Waiting on the post office to deliver some fuel line vents, I need to add a proper one to Solo that I have been putting back into service.

A few years ago I picked up 80,000lbs of new steel tubing at an auction to resale.
I had one guy come out with a cut list, we cut his list and loaded it up, then he had the gall (or stupidity) to make me an offer...
I told him in no uncertain terms that you're supposed to do your negotiating before cutting and loading, and that he could jolly well pay me my 25 cents per pound and get his ugly carcass out of my face and not come back.

Good morning everybody, it's a lovely 53 here, with a prophesy of 74 later.
I think the older I get, the less tolerance I have for people like that. I would have probably been unloading metal as fast as I could and sent him down the road with an understanding to never show up again.

@Sawdust Man do you have a compact tractor with loader and grapple that you use to lift, move and place logs with?
Yes, kubota L2501 it's a bit small for our application, but on the other hand it's easy to trailer around to jobs on account of it's size.
I took it to this job beforehand and got the logs staged for milling.
I used some of the smaller logs for bunks to get the logs up closer to deck height, so we were able to just roll em onto the mill with a peavey.

Those are small, but very good little tools.

Very durable.
