Already being asked when the next GTG will be, so I figured I best get on it and figure up a date. So far the date has been working well weather wise so I think it best to keep the same.
-Will be having a firewood oriented GTG and races on Saturday September 30th, 8:00AM - evening
-Breakfast around 8:00, lunch noonish, dinner around 5:00 or so. Meals to be determined.
-Come early stay late if you like. Let me know if you need any accommodations. Camp here if you like or if
Motel reservations are needed please make them early as it still tourist season here and bookings go fast.
-Some firewood cutting, splitting and stacking in the morning. Pick what you like to do, no assignments.
-Log cutting races in the afternoon, full logs with bark could be either soft or hard wood, no fancy chain needed.
-Saw class - Firewood, run what you brung, stock or ported, new or old.
-All runs by grudge match challenge. Simply ask anyone you would like to to race and be prepared to accept any
and all challenges made to you. If you have a saw you would rather not run please put off to the side or in your
vehicle.
-No prizes, cash or awards of any kind as no clear winners to be declared, nothing official here, fun only.
-Antique saws are always welcome and encouraged. Would like to see some antique races...
-Dedicated racing saws welcome to make demo runs if they can't find a suitable competitor.
-Personal safety up to each and every individual to protect themselves from injury and supply own personal
protective equipment, none will be available for you otherwise.
-If you would like the address please ask to be added to the PM.
