Well known road very close to home. He said there were deer on the inside line of a medium speed turn. Changed line to go around and lost front grip(it was very wet out). Slid off the road right into a large boulder. He’s super sore where the seatbelt held him in. If he wasn’t wearing it, this story would be much different.

The last few years I've been seeing real small ones like these this time of year. Used to be they were bigger by this time of year but it seems the turkeys are breeding layer in the spring the past few.

Old lady erie was good to us today. Smooth lake and lots of fish. Little small though but that seems to be all people are getting this year

Just because of the turkeys.
The last few years I've been seeing real small ones like these this time of year. Used to be they were bigger by this time of year but it seems the turkeys are breeding layer in the spring the past few.

Turkeys have two clutches per year. The first clutch would be 3/4 grown, and the second, chicks. I've seen this by my folks for years. The flocks would get so big, you would have to change shoes when you came in the house. They would even crap on the porch and sidewalk.

When I was teaching my wife and kids to drive, I had drilled into them, if an animal is in their lane and they can't stop, hit it. The damage is far less to the vehicle and occupants.

Thanks all. He’s doing much better. Expected to make a full recovery. Scans found a fractured vertebrae that happened several months ago! Tough little bugger. Now we just need to try and convince him how important it is to take care of your back.

Finally get some new AC units at work.

Mostly because of the amount of machines that have been added in the last year don't like the heat.
