I like! Sounds tough as hell at idle. What exactly is “rev boost” on the huskies? I might have known, but I have CRS these daze...
Supposedly it will over rev for a few seconds to help with light limbing.

It was probably a fuggup and they just rolled widit

As in above the coil limit? Like a transient to say 15k when the real limit is something closer to 14.6? I can see the concept, just wasn’t sure how it happens.

I thought it was a throttle trigger activated plunger or something that squirts some extra fuel in the carb to help transition from idle to FT. I could be wrong though.

I just remember something to that effect in something I read about the 200t, where it would often have carb issues because the revboost would go bad: bad seal or something.

No sir, that would be called an accelerator pump. Rev boost is a few hundred RPMs above the natural limit for a few seconds

Like on the old double pumper Holley's, man those things could make an engine come alive!

And you could start them in the winter w/o a choke, just pump the pedal a few times!
