I used to run 20", 24" & 36" bars on my PS-7900 with the 20" being the primary setup.
With a 20" she wanted more load so I would set the chains rakers aggressively.

With my PS-9010 taking over the 36" B&C setup and me acquiring more saws I now run 20" .404" on my primary PS-7900 and 24" 3/8" on my secondary PS-7900.
I'm really feeling this today, even swapping to the 8 pin didn't really help. EXL just doesn't load it up with the 20.

It's been 14 years since I last ran a 36" on it. Tomorrow it's time to try again. Pulled the bar down off the wall and found the 119DL square skip chain I had for it. It's been on the short bars ever since I got a 880

119DL for D009 36"?
My 36" 3/8" takes 115DL.
Maybe Yours is a oddball 37"?

36" is the upper limit not just regarding PH power but also handling and AV mount load.
You need a 24/26/28".

119dl bar is a old Windsor speed tip. Just measured it and it's 101.5cm overall.

I have a few odd size Windsor D009 bars. A 24" 404 that's marked 76dl but only fits with 74 and a 26" 3/8 that takes 89dl.

Those Dolmars aren’t happy, with that Stihl around Wilhelm ,Lol 😆
You are sooooo wrong pal!
The Stihl got pinched felling that hornbeam (not by me!) and my PS-460 freed it.
My PS-6100MMWS bucked up the whole trunk and most of the crown.
Whatever my PS-6100MMWS didn't cut got dismantled by my PS-460.
The MS400C only "tried" to fell that tree and failed! 😝

The MS400C went home in shame after being freed by my PS-460! 😜

Dolmar 4 life!

DISCLAIMER:
I know pinching the MS400C's B&C was operator error (NOT me!).
Still, Stihl is NOT almighty! 😉

I would have no fear nor shame attending the "Stihl cutting competitions" - but they are only allowing Stihl saws to be used, and on top of that saws THEY provide!

Basically, Stihl is afraid to be put to shame by competing manufacturers.
Prove me wrong! 🙂

Does anyone know how long the dolmar 7910 was made before they switched to makita?
I'd assume you're looking for the amount of years it was produced .. between so and so years ..I have done some research but can't seem to find anything
Hopefully someone here will know.

Production startet in 2012 and ended 2022.
In fact the final batch of saws built in DOLMAR factory in Hamburg was a batch of PS-7910.
After that the production lines were dismantled and the factory buildings demolished.

Do you know if that was the end of production for Makita as well?

Damn, that hit me hard!
I did not know Makita literally killed Dolmar in the roots/foundations. 😢
