That is an awesome fix. A friend of mine is working on a 576 and lost the rod on the carb. I just texted him one of your pictures above, I am sure he has some copper welding rod he can make one too for his saw!I have a 440 linkage on order but I got impatient. Just 10 gauge copper. Welding rod is more rigid but harder to do minor tweaks. Many tweaks were necessary.
