Good afternoon folks. Got most of the garden plantings done at the homestead. There's maybe room in the ground for 2 more tomatoes and another pepper or two before pulling out the pot's/planters again.

Yesterday was the kind of day that it is nice having a top on the boat. A10's did a flyover as well. Seen them several times over Stockton. Need to hit it at least one more time this week.

Trolling cranks. Good day lazy fishing. Mainly looking for crappie, the walleyes were bonus fish.
No better way to get to know a lake than trolling and observing the shore and graph..

It's like sight seeing with a bonus fish now and then..

How deep were you trying to stay? 18-20' range?

Basically over 20 foot. This time of year the crappie will have small schools feeding it seems in about the 15 to 20 foot range of water column. Area we were catching them in was about 30 to 35 foot. Three of the walleye came off points or bluff area, one throwback and one keeper from open water. I have a navionics chip in my finders with one foot depth markings so I can get halfway close to where I want to be.
