Got mine yesterday, shipped it to the shop and showed up right as we were closing up, initial impressions, it looks REALLY good.... weight is about the same as my oregon 20" standard bar, finish quality is better than i expected, and the chain looks really good too... looks like a direct copy of the older stihl 33rs with the snubby rakers, with a grind slightly more similar to oregon 72exl... i will probably get it on a saw this week and cut some wood to see how it does, and how durable it will be...

Appologies for not having time to take any pictures of the actual item yet, they will come tomorrow.
Nice! Pics or it didn't happen! 😂 Mines at the PO...Gotta pick it up....still waiting on the three 28" light D009 mounts for a shipping date.😡

Is there a reason they did it? Do you have to correct before it runs? Run better blocked?
Sorry man, somehow I missed that question.
I've heard rumors it was a "patent infringement workaround" but don't know for sure.
They run better with gasket cut....at least from what I've seen. I didn't run mine until I cut the strato port gasket....also douched the crank and piston pin bearings with brake parts cleaner and oiled with 2stroke oil before running.

Going on two weeks and still don't have a shipping date on 28" light bars.Screenshot_20240512-202135.png Sent them an email on their website. Hopefully they're receptive to such inquiries. We shall see.

She was quick to respond and very helpful. Nice lady. Turns out it's Amazon dragging their feet.
Not suprising at all... probably a case of either the box got misplaced in a warehouse, or they didnt hqve stock when they thought they did...

Got to run the 25" light neotec last night, after a full tank on a ported 044, it didnt stretch any more than stihl 33rs would have, and is still razor sharp despite rip cutting, cross cutting, and noodling dirty ash the whole time... cuts every bit as nice as 33rs, if not a touch more hungry on the raker out of the box...i did nothing but cut with this chain, no slack adjustments after install or anything, put it on and tensioned like i would 33rs and started cutting

I got mine yesterday. Bar looks great. Didn't really look at the chain.

On a new chain I usually run em a little on the tight side in anticipation of stretching. About half a tank in had to actually back the tensioner off a hair. Pretty impressive chain for Chicom stuff.

Absolutely I edited it I meant the tsumura light and tough compared to the tsumura lw
I have several powermatch they seem to have improved over the year's
I've got some 90s vintage floppy bastards in the shop the new one's are better.
What are your thoughts on power match vs Tsumura durability wise. I'm in need of a 36" D009 for mostly milling purposes. The Oregon is about $100... Tsumura about $150...Is it worth the difference in cost?

New bar/chain i usually set it with no visual droop in the chain, and snug to the point that i can (while tugging pretty hard) JUST (like 1/16" max) pull the drive link out of the channel in the middle of the bar
