I have yet to "suffer" from CAD
I know... I know. No red light 064s. This one likely had a handle swap, but I thought I'd rile up the Stihl purists.
Anyway, on to the saw. It's an 064av
I bought locally with a few known issues. The shop owner was just going to loctite the bearing issue and sell it. I bought it before he could.
I tore it down to the point where I'm pretty sure I'm confident the future owner knows what he is getting. I can ship like that or reassemble it. Buyers choice. I'm a good packagetizer so either way works for me.
issues:
1. PTO bearing spins on crank.
2. Crack in tank. It had a humongous glob of sealer on it. At the buyers request, Im going to plastic weld it as it's just tiny.
3. One of the 3 webs on the filter post is cracked. Still solid, but it's there.
4. Front of case is pushed in a little and cracked on the lower lip from not wearing a bucking spike. It's still solid, but has an obvious crack.
5. It apparently has a red light 066 tank, filter setup, and top handle.
Overall i think it would be a great builder.
I want 250 plus the ride pho.
