Husqvarna 55 not responding to tune

Stiff metering diaphragm is a good one. Maybe a bit of debris or dried gas restricting a passage, and you knocked it loose by adjusting the mixture needles? Seasonal gas? This early in the season you may have gotten a batch of winter blend fuel. That can cause some wierd issues. Just some thoughts.

    John deere Z225 motor swap

The chassis and drivetrain was designed to match the engine. If you hotrod this mower, you may have problems with parts breaking or wearing out prematurely. Like burned out belts for instance. Having said that, check the engine mounting bolt patterns and crankshaft diameter and length to make...

    Toro z5035 zero turn repair?

I agree with EFSM. But check out and eliminate all other possibilities first. Those hydro units are not cheap!

    Toro z5035 zero turn repair?

That lever is a formed piece of heavy wire. I have seen them get bent so it does not place the bypass lever on the transmission fully in the engaged position. The lever is really partially in the bypass position and the transmission won't drive. Try moving the lever on the transmission a little...

    Head scratcher!!

The cable insulation can break down over time. Or microscopic cracks develop. Can't see these things, but add some moisture and watch the fireworks!

    Murray transmission

Check the transmission input pulley for stripped splines. Sometimes they wear out and the pulley slips or spins on the shaft. If you can give us the model number we might be able to give you more specific help. That's a pretty old machine though.

    Zero turn broken any suggestions?

Another vote for battery. Also make sure your cable connections are shiny clean and tight. The noise in your video is normal, just air being pushed around inside the crankcase when you turn the engine over.

HELP! Add air filter to Tecumseh

Partstree.com also. Parts pricing and availability vary widely, so once you have your parts numbers, do some shopping.

    Wood Chipper?

I don't want to discourage you from buying a piece of equipment that you obviously need. But, Brush piles make excellent wildlife habitat. Food for deer ( if the tops are fresh), shelter and protection from predators for small animals, nesting places for birds. Sometimes these small creatures...

Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mower Issue!

One more vote for a plugged carb. Hard to tell from your picture, but I think this one has a diaphragm pumper style carb. If so: Take the carb off the tank and check the pickup screen on the bottom of the extension off the carb. It could be plugged with debris. Check the tank for dirt/water/...

HELP! Flywheel magnet LCT 208 engine

Liquid Combustion Technology (LCT) engines are made in China. Parts should be fairly cheap. Partstree.com shows the flywheel part number as 532429236. $66.99. May be available cheaper elsewhere. It states "usually ships in 3-10 days" which means they don't have it in stock. As Erik says, check...

    Scag Liberty Z won't start!!!!!

The physical shape of the solenoid may be different, but all solenoids of this style operate the same way. By jumping the wires the way you describe you are bypassing the fuses, key switch and safety switches. You had a bad connection somewhere in that circuit. It is a good possibility a poor...

What model is your Scag, in case I need to find a wiring diagram for it?

    Scag Liberty Z won't start!!!!!

We must do more testing to determine the problem. Does your machine have a solenoid similar to the one in this picture, with 2 large wires going to the 2 large terminals (copper colored on this one) And 2 small wires going to the 2 small terminals (silver colored, yours may have slide-on spade...

    Scag Liberty Z won't start!!!!!

If you have 12.5v on both of the small terminals of the solenoid, you have a ground problem through the safety switch circuit. Likely a safety switch is being activated, is defective or a bad connection/ broken wire to one of the switches. Recheck your safety switches. Is your PTO switch on?
