I had an ebay 046 saw come in with loose cylinder screws....two missing....didn't run to bad either....was kinda fun watching the cylinder wobble up an down while the saw was running. lol OK, I didn't run it for longer than like 5 seconds.

This big ole Dolmar CT would start and run for a bit and then take off even with the choke full on. This picture of the clutch side seal explained everything. Exactly as I found it.

Mine is a tie between crank bearing/bearing bore leak on a 575 and an intake boot on an 038 Super that had a hole in it big enough to swing a dead cat through...

A 038 Magnum that was brought in not running right. A definite ,clack, clack, clack could be heard when the recoil was pulled out.

Torn boot on a 361, tree guy couldn't figure out why it wouldn't run right. well, the boot had a half inch tear across the top.

375k seal started spining in case half clutch side. was lucky found a good case at the scrap yard a few days later

Forgetting to reinstall this one screw on a 2051 will leave you pretty screwed.

These are pics from today when I had to pull the jug just to put the lit'l focker back in.
This is also the first time I've ever had an extra screw left on the bench after building a saw. I was thinking to myself..."I wonder how important this damn thing is" as I saw it sitting there.

Had a bit of crankcase gasket about 20mm long come out once. Boy did that baby rev.

Guy had me put a topend on he said was a straight gassed 372 he had all the intake part's at his place i installed a meteor with cabers after cleaning the cylinder i told him to check the boot he didn't it was split 1/2 inch and a week later i put a 25.00 bigbore kit on it after he fried the meteor.
