Please help me out OPE.

Mine seems to leak along the seam.
Sucks.

Also vent is busted, like me.

I thank you Ope!

I just fixed my leaking 395 tank a few days ago. I used a soldering iron with a blunt chisel tip and pushed towards the seam. I actually kinda did three passes, one from each side pushing in and then one going over the top pushing down with less heat. So far so good. Might be worth a shot.

Edited to add: I totally meant to thank Shaun Carr for the advice on fixing that tank in my post originally. Thanks Shaun!

They were welded at the factory with heat and pressure from a sonic gun so your very close to what they did. I did that with lawnmower tanks but they just crack in another place, cheap junk there. Had a plastic welder twenty-five or more years ago, it sucked. The solder gun is much better
Bet some old guy did that in the fifties. The fifty are back ask @DuratecMan10 for a pic.

I might have a usable tank. It needs to be cleaned and checked.

Do you still need that tank?
I have one 084 to clean and one 460. Won't take much longer to clean and test this one sitting here tomorrow or tonight.
