why does H&L supply say 372 Hyway bb kit wont work on xtorque model ?
I wanted to order a bb pop up kit for my 372 x torque but it says it wont work , does any one know why ?
I was expecting to replace carb, intake, air horn, and top plastic to make it work but is there something im missing here ? thanks in advance for any replies

They say that as it's not a direct replacement, as you already know, an adaption needs took place to make it work. :)

All you need is a 385/390 intake boot. Use the XT carb and elbow.

I'll take the XT parts off your hands if you decide to part with them.

I'll take the XT parts off your hands if you decide to part with them.

... and, if you go this route, leave the divider in the carbeltater. Elbow is okay too.

The XT engine shroud is taller than OE too if you dont mind that.

Also has the decomp hole that is no longer needed. I usually fill it with epoxy to keep the air flow going past the cylinder. It's probably just me worrying too much, but it certainly can't hurt anything.

one more question I bought caber 52 mm rings for my Hyway kit and the rings are to thick for any piton I have -had to use the kit rings ?

Measure the thickness of the rings supplied and see if those are available in the Cabers.

I didn't know you could get different thickness rings - haven't seen that listed just size in mm 50 52 ect ?

why would you want to delete de comp valve ?
