I just caught myself reminiscing How and why I joined Arborist Site then How and when I ended up here on OPE.
AS was for me I needed answers on my Stihl 056 MAGNUM II then a few months later I was introduced to OPE by Definitive Dave. (First I knew Dave was on AS)
I began thinking that it would be a good thread for members to share what drew them join to OPE.
If you wish to ignore the truth you can embellish as much as your imagination is. able. Don't be surprised with comments you get.

In my constant searching for information on older equipment that I always seem to be repairing or working on I seem to find alot of good info from the fine folks on this site so I figured why not joing and maybe even help others every now and then. I'll also use this as an introductory thread.

Found this site and AS same time while googling about farmertec/Holzfforma saws. (Ordered the G660 PRO from china) I have a bunch of hobbies that have "bit" me, I'm getting deep with this one on this go around though.....

Tried to join this site first and was locked out due to "spam like behavior" took a couple weeks but finally got it straightened out. (Thank-you HL SUPPLY) So far I'm already liking this site better, no ad bombardment for one, or CRAZY supporting fees. Supporting fees are much more reasonable here.

I also like this is same software as my gun forum, so I'm mostly familiar with buttons and navigation. I'm looking to read about CSmilling, and CS maintenance. I have learned quite a bit at AS already just from searching threads. Can't wait to start rummaging around in here.
