Annie was our Dobbie. A sweetheart. Unfortunately she went over the rainbow at almost 14. She'd stair down squirrels. This would go on over half hour. Annie ain't moving and squirrel ain't coming down.
She would pull the comforter back to get more comfy.

Thanks for posting, gents. The last pic of the vicious dog with the baby takes the cake. Honorable mention to the first pic of the dog trying to steal food from the baby.

BTW, I don't have a Doberman. But my wife and I house sat for someone, and the owner forgot to tell us about the Doberman in the deal. Jeez they are total love slobs, and the sweetest dogs out there. Was having a hard time keeping her out of my bed.

The only time I have ever seen them get angry is when someone gets close to the children. Never bitten anyone but people usually back away when they see the dogs get in front of the kids. I've bought every child of mine a doberman for their 1st birthdays, my oldest is 18 and youngest will be 2 next month with a 13 year old in the middle

Seems like a good trait.

With Doberman and 2 little white dogs not much real estate left in bed. Sadly only the fluffer on right is only dog....for now.
Halloween costumes. Bumblebee Hamburger and Tutu. PS Doberman ate big basket of Halloween candy. Sick? Nope. Just a bunch off wrappers in her 'landmines'.

No dobes, but our last dog was a rottie, and our current is a mastiff. I wouldn't hesitate to put either in a room full of children. But... mess with a kid, you'll find out quick that you made a mistake.

My Dad was working in Ohio. Just Mom and young sister at home in rural area.

Brutus, 140 lb Rottie gave them confidence. Talking with Mom, tell her keep doors locked, guns loaded and dog hungry. At almost 15, he took a nap on patio in sunshine and didn't wake up. Pretty good way to go.
