Just like the title says. I am giving my Father a Stihl MS200t I fixed up for him. A couple of years ago I rebuilt/refurbished a couple of ms200t and 020t into a working saw. Anytime I cut wood with my Dad this is the saw he reaches for. I have to say this is one of my favorites to run as well. Anyway I bought 3 ms200t's that where supposed runners earlier in the year and figured one could be Dads for Christmas. I took the best parts from all three saws to make it as nice as possible. I cleaned everything up in my parts washer and started replacing parts. The saw has new seals, new fuel and impulse lines, new fuel filter, and a new GB Pro 12 inch bar and chain. I also pulled the cylinder and replaced the piston rings as well. I rebuilt the carb with a kit after ultrasonic cleaning all the parts. Finally I replaced the ignition coil and I had a runner. I can't wait to give it to him. My brother is building him a scabbard for his tractor so we can mount the saw to his rollbar. Since he will now have his own maybe I will get to use mine a little bit more.

I just gave my old man a 026 I ported. He helps me cut a lot of wood and his old craftsman never wants to start or stay running. Early present as we are still cutting here and there. He loved it!

I gave a really nice chainsaw to two men who need a saw that either can use whenever they want to use it. One guy agreed to keep it in his garage. It runs very well and I restored it by taking parts out of yet another that no longer ran.

This Mac 3516, which looks brand new, will service both of them very well, and I volunteered to repair it and keep it alive as best as I could. Both of these men have received holiday saws from me in the past. Those saws all still run today.

BTW, I'm also handing a vintage Echo 500EVL that I restored to to the owner at no charge. The saw now runs beautifully. Carb was way out of adjustment.

My brother-in-law's old 10mm 044 lost some bearings last summer, and he wanted to fix it but didn't have the cash, and couldn't afford a new saw... so I took it home, completely disassembled it, and sent the crankcase to @Glock37 for some new powder. I ended up buying a bunch of new parts, but could never seem to find the time to work on it.

So a couple of months ago I sent it to @jmssaws to be reassembled, and Jason put the saw back together. I told him I couldn't afford any port work, since I already spent a bunch money on parts, but he ported it anyways, and didn't charge me for any of the work!

My plan is to give the saw back as a Christmas gift, completely rebuilt and ported! I couldn't have done it without Jason's help and generosity in doing the work.

I think I'm more excited to give this saw back than I've ever been about getting a saw for myself.

Iam building a ms 390 for my uncle. Was going to change a 029 in to a 039 then Mastermind gave me a ms390 needing a cleaning, handle and clutch cover! He always helps me and lets me store junk at his house and his old craftsman is getting tired so this will be a nice upgrade for him.

I ran a 290/390 conversion as my main saw for a couple of years. I'm sure he will be more than happy with that saw.

My dad is a saw guy,he loves them and has a building full but he's in his 70's now and can't start most of them, mainly because there all ported. Lol

But I had @drf256 build him a 026 with a decomp and he absolutely loves it but now he's got the hots for a 562 after running mine so that's what he's getting this Christmas.
It's kool to be in the position I'm in where I work at home and can come and go as I please so we get a lot of saws time in through the week,he loves these 90cc beasts I'm building so I'll start him one and he'll cut wood, never much past half throttle smiling the whole time.
I should have got a video of him running trooney's 661 the other day. Lol
Here's dad's Christmas present

I recently gave my brother a husky 350. I put a aftermarket 353 piston and caber ring in it, base gasket delete and muffler mod. He originally wanted a stihl 009 I had because it was the same saw my pap cut wood with for years. ( that I still have and love the way it runs). So I fixed up the 009 but it didn't oil properly. So I told him to take the 350 til I got parts for the 009. The next day he calls and says he loves that saw and asks how much $ for it. I told him just take it merry Christmas. This will be his first year cutting wood for himself. He moved into a new place that has a wood burner. So I figured the 350 would serve him well. With the saw I also gave him a gallon gas can, quart of 2 stroke oil, gallon of bar oil, scrench, carb screwdriver, and a fiskats x27. So he's setup to burn now.

My dads favorite saw is the 026 now, so I picked 1 up at an auction and I had another 1, took the best parts from booth and made him a really nice one. Hope we get to cut a lot of wood together with it and my 346xp. Memories is what it is all about.
