I don’t care what oil you run

I don't know the history or backstory here about who did what to whom, and I don't really care. I'm not defending anyone, but the statement:

"It’s ok for others to have a different experience to yours and it be valid"

I'm good with that. That's life.

At the same time, I wish everyone would just take your attitude and run the oil they like and not care what someone else does. Oil arguments are pointless.

Schaeffer's went to 28.00 a quart so I Mixed up 5 gallons of Castrol go
40/1 going to try it out
It was only 6.38 a quart when I bought it
Eggshooter had good results with it.

oil threads never die.
They seize when they run out of oil! 😋
Oh well then if you read about it on the internet it must be true🙄
You know, You are just a guy writing stuff on the internet Yourself!
Just saying. ;)

Oil, keeping combustion engine and tranny forums running since the dawn of internet. 🤣

I hearded oil is a made up topic on forums to maximize clicks - the lower the ratio the higher the click count.
Since I wrote it on the interwebs it must be true.

You’d have to buy some Dominator to get those results
I've never run dominator but I'm buying some soon
A local amsoil rep quoted 12.00 a quart that's reasonable to me.
I've got 5 1/2 more quarts of Castrol GO and and 32 2.5 gallon mix bottles of that echo *s-wordfire I got from amazon year's ago on clearance for 2.50 a 6 pack I've never run it.
I burned through my last 10 gallons of Schaeffer's 7000 that's good *s-word but not 28.00 a quart good.

Have not tried it I just mixed it yesterday
I've worked on so many saws lately
I burned through all my Schaeffer's so I need something onhand to test and tune with
I'm sure it'll be just fine there's a lot of guy's running it here.
I haven't got any of their saws in carboned up or anything.

I’m fully cognizant of that. Hence my comment that nobody here really takes this thread seriously anymore, and this isn’t directed at you @Wilhelm

I just found it interesting that ol Tom the spoon man aka @Vintage Engine Repairs would be on here bashing an oil based on his “experience.” He was recently seen on Another Site preaching how great Stihl ultra was. Like just a few weeks ago.

When Dominator was shown to him as superior he allegedly ordered some. Then not long after he’s bashing it here. Too soon after for him to have had any real experience with it, and getting his knickers all twisted when he got static about it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Personally I don’t care what oil anyone runs. I like Dominator, Schaeffers, dolmar, Castrol go, etc…. You’re going to maybe like something else and that’s okay.

However, if you’re going to come on here and be an idiot and troll I’m going to call a spade a spade and call you out on it. It’s pretty much in the job description. You’re probably going to get your feelers hurt and maybe even do a little time in band camp. Depending on how much of an idiot you are😉
