Hey folks. This little hook shaped piece of metal has been nailed to the wall of my grandma's kitchen for decades, through several colors of wall paint in fact. We use it as a bottle opener. Any idea on what it actually is? Maybe it is a piece of something else that was found to make a good bottle opener?

My first impression was part of a bolt lock, but the picture is a little out of focus.
