Fitted my first truss for my “grillzebo” today. Designed the plans in inventor/cad and printed 1:1 templates to face cut and notch the trusses. Worked perfect.

I’ll update as I get closer to finish. Speaking of finish, I haven’t decided what I want to seal/stain.

Grillzebo is closer. Need to do the patio floor next and then some bar tables between the spans.

Picked up a Sears Craftsman Commercial 12" Radial Saw for $20. It's not the nicest looking saw, but... it works great! I had to machine an adapter to go from a 5/8" to 1"... had some extra boards kicking around... so we tossed on a makeshift base table... tomorrow we will build a larger table off from it... sand, paint, and detail it.

The ol' lady said she needed another bookshelf for all of her books... I said, "where are all of your books?" Her response... I now have space to add to the collection... lmfao

I'm going to use that line for saw parts!!!

Building a 3' X 6' Red Oak outdoor picnic table for my older daughter, using my trailer as a workbench.

This milled wood was stored outside for too long. All of the sapwood had to be removed, and other sections needed repair (including a woodpecker hole), but most of the heartwood is still very solid.

Was tough to make progress with all the rain we have been having, today was the first dry day in a long time.

Now I just need to let the PL Premium dry, stain it, and transport it to her house in NH!
