No shelving.

Mod, test and tune, repeat...until you have attained maximum performance.:)

That is where the shelving comes in, build a couple other saws in between. To spark some ideas for the Christmas saw.

If I started on one now I'd wear it out taking it apart before Christmas.

And this too.

I thought of inviting you but I figured you was old St.Nick and already was involved
Me too actually.
I've settled on a MS360.
I'll be trying to build mine in summer. Probably have it built and shelved til xmas. Fall gets real busy for me if it's like last year I was gone from Sept til Dec 19th.

If anybody is thinking black and red, I've got a minty jred 630 piston and cylinder that needs a new home.
I tossed it out there. I don't know if it's too old. I have some experience with them.and plenty of parts. If you guys think it's worthy let me know.

I was thinking 036. But they seem popular.

I may try a 261/2 but they have been done to death.

I kinda thought about a 357/9 got some thoughts but I'm light on some parts. If your flush with 357/359 let me know.

I would be very interested in building a ms 361.

Haha decisions decisions.

Either way, it's here. If I was building a race saw, I'd go 562. But it's 30 year old red-headed cousin in soooo damn sexy

Damn. I'm 034.

Would be cool to see how a few of us approach the same platform.

Maybe next year it will be "The 12 044's of Chistmas". Kinda like IROC racing. Please refrain from the Itaian American comments.

The 630 should be a strong runner. I had a 625 and a 670 and they were both good saws, but I never got to run a 630. I believe the 630 is heavier than the 60cc saws that are current but probably just as powerful.

I kinda feel the same way about a 575 - it's mid 90's vintage - but they are so well made, handle so good, and look good!
