looking for a splitter with wedge on beam for light commercial duty, only hardwoods. Any experience or recommendations? Don’t want to break the bank but willing to pay for quality.

Lots of people like the Timberwolf brand. Quality equipment.

The wolf ridge I’ve never seen in action, but they are built about 3 hours away from me.

And Easton made products I seen at a logging expo in action. He started out by making his own because he didn’t see anything but crap at a price range homeowners could afford.

No matter what you get, if your going commercial, I would get a hydraulic 4 way wedge and log lift as a minimum. Other features that are nice are dump valves to increase return cycle times.

I have a Wolfe ridge. I'm happy with it. At the time they were a fraction of the price for the equivalent timberwolf splitter. I don't know how they compare now.
