these saws are quite old so if I could find whole parts saws that might be good because the saws that I have are still good runners...just need some small things here and there.

I'm looking for parts for an Echo 602VL and a 500VL

John Deere 60v is the equivalent of the 602VL, different color. An Echo 602EVL , I believe the E stands for electronic, not sure if the JD was points or electronic or both. Echo 702'S AND JD 70V ARE also the same as the 602 only a bigger bore. I think all the parts interchange.
JD had a 50cc or 2 that were Echo in a green shade also, not sure if the 500vl was 1 but i think it's likely.
Might find a few parts at an old JD dealer.
