Please let me know if I'm off base here...
I'm not into OLD Stihls. Maybe someone else has interest. I'm not sure if its an 056 or 045. Someone in another thread felt that the muffler is indicative of an 056 or at least an 045 Super. I got it from a friend who said that it was in running condition 2 years ago when it had a starter problem... pulled the starter, couldn't remember if it had been fixed or not... there it sat. It rotates freely and seems to have good compression. It looks like it used to be a full wrap but was cut and taped. AFTER TAKING THE PICS, THE OUTSIDE SPIKE BROKE OFF OF THE CLUTCH COVER (I'LL POST MORE PICS AS I FIND TIME).
I'd be interested in trading for a complete, non-running or project, pro model, Husqvarna or Jonsered(s) of similar value (old models okay)... or a good running firewood saw for my friend... or some cash... or porterhouse steaks... amber ale... wheated whiskey... try me.
I have some other Husky trade fodder parts as well... mostly 262 and 350. A few 357/359 and Jonsered 630 pieces.
