Hey guys, bought my first ported saw used in March and have been running it hard falling and processing for my sawmill here ever since. I haven’t dealt directly with Walker’s so I can only speak about the quality of work that was done to my saw.
The saw has a pile of time on it. Ports are very smooth and clean, no scoring etc. Looks like a very nice clean burn. It has gobs of power, revs to the moon. Pulls 28” skip in poplar like it’s cutying butter and it’s very smooth. Oils like crazy. When it’s time to freshen it up I’ll gladly check out their customer service too.
Anyway, just thought I’d share my thoughts on this shop’s work, with you guys.
