Hello all. I have a less then 1 year old husqvarna 129l that just won't even attempt to start. Will not pop even once. Starting fluid directly into cylinder and through carb. 120 lbs compression. Has spark judged by removing plug and pressing to block. .....I'm at a total loss . Dropped off to a power equipment guy he is also at a total loss. It ran fine I put it away. A few days later I went to start it and it kinda felt harder to pull on the first attempt then back to normal . Any ideas?

Check flywheel key. These usually have a pressed-in aluminum key that can shear fairly easily if not torqued properly. You can eyeball it by making sure the magnets are at the coil when the piston is TDC.
Unless it's really badly flooded. Your last comment about being hard to pull is suspicious. Double check that the muffler isn't clogged with a muddauber nest, if you have them in NY.

Tried new plug.
Just cause they spark outside the cylinder don't mean they do under compression.
Had this happen a couple of times.

Pull the muffler and spark plug, pull it through slowly, and check for scoring on the piston. If that looks ok blow the cylinder out, dry the plug, hold the throttle wide open and see what happens. If the needle in the carb was sticking open it may be flooded.

That's where I was leaning but the mech that had it said he checked them and they were fine. I'm going to double check to make sure I didn't drop it when I dis assembled

Upon further research I believe the key to be molded into the flywheel .

Key definitely looks like it was molded in and has been sheared off. Mark where it was on the outside of the flywheel and line it up with the key slot in the crank and just torque it down. The taper will hold it just fine and it should be good after that
