did a trade with a collector buddy today and came home with a Titan geardrive and a ground up restored Solo super Rex,the big 142cc variant.
I have another super still in its work clothes, and they make a good pair.
havent run the titan yet,but looking forward to firing it up on the weekend.

That sprocket cover is killer. Cool saws!

You scored two cool saws there- the Titan one man saws are plentiful in this area since there were several Titan dealers here (western Oregon) back in the day. I never see those old Solos though.

What did you trade off to get those? Must have been some cool stuff!

traded a Stihl KS43 engine,minus gearbox,handles ,bar,etc.
I was never able to find all those bits,he had them, plus he is much more into two man saws than i am.
The Titans never really made it out to Australia, but the Solos were common around here (although the super rex is rare) and were strong competition to the Stihl lightning
