As stated above, I would either try the ultrasonic cleaner or popping the Welch plug and cleaning it that way (hopefully your carb kit came with a replacement Welch plug).
You may have already done this. Blow it out with carb cleaner from where the fuel enters the passage under the metering diaphragm? Should be able to see it come out inside the venturi. Also, some carbs supplement low idle through the high speed jet. Welders tip cleaning kits are great for cleaning those tiny passages as well.
I’ve pulled the Welch plug and can not get anything to fit in that tiny hole. Short of an ultrasonic bath I’ve tried everything and it will not open up.
